NACL THEATRE CALL FOR PARTICIPATION

GET INVOLVED in the MAKING of an ORIGINAL PLAY, =B3AMERICAN VALUE=B2
To be presented at The NACL Catskill Festival of New Theatre on JULY 14 and
15, 2006
A joint production of Sojourn Theatre, NACL, Carpetbag Brigade, and YOU!

AMERICAN VALUE=20
NACL is looking for people from all sides of the political spectrum=8B
Democrats, Republicans, Socialists, Libertarians.... Anyone!
Get involved as a performer OR be interviewed with questions like:  =B3What
does being an American mean to you?=B2  =B3What are your core values?=B2

=B3American Value=B2 will ask questions and investigate how we view the world,
ourselves, and the big and small issues that affect our lives and culture.
It is a documentary theatre performance to be created in early July and
invites the participation of Sullivan County and Upper Delaware Valley
residents who would like to be interviewed or join as performers in the
creation of this show.

The show will be directed by acclaimed Portland director Michael Rohd of
Sojourn Theatre (http://www.sojourntheatre.org/) in collaboration with NACL
Theatre actors and the amazing stilt walkers of The Carpetbag Brigade.  If
you or your organization would like to be interviewed in late June and earl=

Rehearsal Schedule
Thursday evening, July 6th, 7-10 PM
Saturday, July 8, day time (exact time TBA)
Monday-Thursday evenings, July 10-13, 7-10 PM
Opening night on Friday, July 14, another show on July 15

HOST A GUEST ARTIST
NACL is looking for community members to house guest artists on this projec=
t
from July 5-17.  If you live near NACL Theatre and can house an artist or
two we would appreciate it.   This means providing the artist(s) a bed  and
a bath.  All the artists will eat meals at the NACL artists residence.  Cal=
