Saint  Joseph Academy (high school) is looking for a design team for the =20
fall musical production of =E2=80=9CThe Secret Garden=E2=80=9D by Marsha Nor=
man and Lucy  Simon.=20
 The director is local Equity  actor Patrick Janson (=E2=80=9CMalcolm=E2=80=
=9D in The  Full=20
Monty last April at the Beck Center) who has been the Chair of the  Performi=
ng=20
Arts and Director of Musicals for the past eight years at  SJA.=20
Once production starts in the fall, all  designers must be available for a=20
production meeting once a week, have an  interest in working with and traini=
ng=20
high school students, be able to work  collaboratively, and be able to work=20
within a given time frame and budget:   All adults who work directly with =20
students must complete a two-hour VIRTUS training session in order to work i=
n a =20
Catholic school.=20
POSITIONS  NEEDED:=20
SET DESIGNER =E2=80=93 able to design a large  scale multi-scene musical in=20=
a small=20
proscenium theatre, with two extended side  platforms=20
LIGHTING DESIGNER/MASTER ELECTRICIAN =E2=80=93  with experience in safe rigg=
ing as=20
nearly all lights and equipment are  rented=20
TECHNICAL DIRECTOR =E2=80=93 must be available  for entire build and all tec=
h=20
rehearsals and lead students with a variety of  skill levels=20
