A new production of I Ought to be in Pictures is slated for the Performi=
ng Arts Center at Cuyahoga Community College East Campus, 4250 Richmond =
Road, beginning Friday, July 21. Neil Simon=92s play, originally produce=
d on Broadway and subsequently turned into a movie, is a tender-hearted =
comedy in which a father and daughter meet after a sixteen-year separati=
on.
Brian Zoldessy, 52, Director of Tri-C-East=92s Theatre Department, plays=
 crusty screenwriter father, Herb Tucker. Daughter Marnie Zoldessy, 17, =
a senior at Shaker Heights High School, makes her Cleveland stage debut =
as Libby, the wise-cracking wannabe who travels from New York City to vi=
sit a father who walked out on her, her brother and mother sixteen years=
 earlier.

Marnie=92s been active in theatre at the high school, performing, direct=
