Elyria Summer Theatre Association is pleased to announce its production of B=
YE BYE BIRDIE.  Show dates are Thursday through Sunday, July 27-30.  Evening=
 performances will begin at 8:00 PM on Thursday through Saturday.  A Matinee=
 performance will begin at 2:00 PM on Sunday.  All shows will be held in the=
 Elyria High School Auditorium, located at West Avenue and 6th Street, just=20=
3 blocks south of Elyria=E2=80=99s downtown square.  Admission is $10 for ad=
ults, $9 for students under 18 and senior citizens.  Tickets are available a=
t the door; the doors open 30 minutes prior to the performance.

BYE BYE BIRDIE is directed by Russel Stich of Cleveland=E2=80=99s Cabaret Da=
Da.  Musical direction is by Kevin Mulder, choreography by Amy Pawlukiewicz,=
 and technical direction by Curtis Young of the Cleveland Play House.  Local=
 cast members include Melissa Crum and Brent Heuser as Rosie and Albert, Jar=
ed Koepp as Conrad Birdie, Ric Evans as Mr. MacAfee and Sue Dixon as Mae Pet=

BYE BYE BIRDIE is one of the most captivating and humorous musical shows of=20=
our time.  It is a satire done with the fondest affection, and tells the sto=
ry of a rock and roll singer who is about to be inducted into the army.  An=20=
English Teacher, What Did I Ever See in Him?, Put on a Happy Face, One Boy,=20=
A Lot of Livin' to Do, Kids, Rosie and Spanish Rose are musical theatre clas=
sics.  Filled with good music, lively dance numbers and just a touch of misc=
hief, this show is sure to give everyone in the audience a wonderful summer=20=
evening or afternoon. =20
