SINGING ANGELS OPEN AUDITIONS 

Internationally-renowned youth chorus holds bi-annual auditions  

WHAT: Cleveland's own Singing AngelsR   Open Auditions

WHEN: Saturday, September 9th, 10am-3pm-first come, first serve 

WHERE: Masonic Temple, 3615 Euclid Ave., Corner of East 36th and Euclid Ave.

WHO SHOULD AUDITION: Girls ages 8-14 and Boys ages 8-16.

No experience necessary. To audition, young people should come prepared to
sing a song of their choosing without accompaniment. 

ABOUT The Singing Angels

Cleveland's Own Singing Angels are now composed of more than 300 youth from
10 Northeast Ohio counties, 74 municipalities and 140 schools.  The Singing
Angels strives to maintain a diversity of students and is open to all
children and youth regardless of their ethnic, religious, racial or
socio-economic backgrounds.  

The experience lasts a lifetime: In its 42 years, the group has been to 32
countries on three continents, performed three times for the Pope, four
times for the White House, and featured in dozens of TV appearances. Twice
each year, the group performs on stage at Playhouse Square Center and in
nearly 100 performances each year.  All young people with an interest in the
performing arts are urged to audition.

The mission of The Singing Angels is "To encourage, foster and cultivate
positive youth development by engaging youth from all communities in quality
music and performing arts education that teaches discipline, builds
confidence, and provides a foundation for life - Make Music. Make Friends.
Make a Difference."
