THE CAPITOL STEPS 

Back by popular demand, the Capitol Steps - the only people in
Washington who are funnier than the politicians -are returning to
Stocker with new material!  Tickets: $30/Orchestra; $25/Mezzanine.

 

Tuesday, September 19, 2006 - 9:45am & 11:45am
DISCOVER THEATER! Featuring Disney's CINDERELLA KIDS & Disney's THE
JUNGLE BOOK KIDS. Student Matinee Series show. Helps children discover
valuable lessons about the importance of teamwork and ingenuity through
the memorable stories and songs of these beloved Disney classics.  Runs
1 Hour - Recommended for grades K-6; most focused for grades K-4.
Tickets: $4.


Thursday, September 21, 2006 - 10:00am & 7:30pm
TIEMPO LIBRE in concert

Miami-based, Grammy-nominated Tiempo Libre, one the hottest Latin bands
today will do a one-hour Student Matinee performance at 10:00am and a
full-length evening performance at 7:30pm.  Tickets for 10am Student
Matinee Series show: $4/each.  
Tickets for 7:30pm evening show: $15/Adults; $10/Children 12 and under

In addition to the above, Stocker Arts Center also presents a full
Student Matinee Series which includes 12 performances, the Fall Film
Series, which  begins on Friday, September 1st with "Duma"
(Winter/Spring films to be announced at a later date), and a full
schedule of art gallery exhibitions.

Tickets are now on sale for all events EXCEPT GIRLS WITH GUITARS (which
goes on sale on Wednesday, September 13th at 12:00 noon at both the Box
Office and on-line).  The Stocker Arts Center Box Office is open from
12:00 noon to 6:00pm Mondays through Fridays and 1-1/2 hours before
