Casting Call for Independent Short Film

Autumn Haze Pictures, an award-winning independent film company, is =20
looking to cast their new short film entitled =93Visit China.=94 Their =20=

previous short =933:18=94 was completed in 2005, has since screened at =20=

festivals across the country, as far off as Australia and recently =20
won a 2006 Silver Telly award. With =93Visit China=94 we look to =
continue =20
our award winning short film lineup and are committed to screening at =20=

festivals around the world.

=93Visit China=94 is a dramatic short written by published and award =20
winning poet and writer George Bilgere. It explores the Chinese and =20
American relationship of producer and consumer, at the same time =20
making a statement of Cleveland=92s once astonishing presence as an =20
industrial hub and inevitable loss.

Schedule for shooting is pending availability of cast and crew. We =20
are planning either a Sept or Oct shoot.
We are seeking to fill several roles:

=95 lead: male - late 30=92s to low 40=92s

=95 supporting roles:

	female - mid to late 30=92s

	male or female - late 50=92s

	male =96 any age (carnival ringmaster type, very eccentric)

=95 non speaking roles:

	male =96 any age (able to look convincing in an eye patch:)

	female =96 Chinese, 18-24

	three obese men =96 any age (preferably 20-40)

Note on non-speaking roles: Though there are no lines, must be able =20
to act, show emotion and respond to the lead with facial expressions.
