Holm, Howard, Paythress reading at Gallery 324 Saturday at Noon

Gallery 324 presents a weekly literary reading and performance 
series: Every Saturday at Noon. The Featured Readers read, starting 
with a piece by an artist other than themselves whose work they 
admire, and then there is an open mic afterwards. 

There is Free Parking for these events on Saturdays in the Galleria 
Parking Garage: enter off Lakeside between East 9th and East 12th. 
There=B4s a large sign with a 3-D curly-cue design that says "Galleria 
Parking", and a ramp down under the building.

Readings will begin at Noon, and rarely do they run past 2pm

These week=B4s FEATURED READERS are:

Lynnette Howard is a poet, an actress, a director, a playwright, and 
a voice-over artist. She has appeared on "Law and Order", "Third 
Watch", "The Cosby Show", "As The World Turns", "The Best Man", and a 
number of other TV shows and movies.

Maud Holm, edited a family newsletter at age 3,  began acting when 
she was 5, and  wrote her first poem at age 11. She has published 
numerous works over the years in local and national journals, 
including an appearance on Deep Cleveland as "Maudie Moon."  She has 
five poetry books to her credit, including Sighed Affects/Side 
Effects, God Lives in the Heights, On Plowed Field, I, Solipsistic 
Sighs and March of Two Moons.   She holds a Ph.D. , is a Capella 
University faculty member and a local actor.

Malkiese Paythress is a multimedia visual artist and a spoken word/ 
hip-hop performance artist currently studying visual communications 
at Tri-C in the honors program. He is also a contributing writer for 
Artist Review Today Magazine, The Black on Black Crime Inc. 
newsletter and Circle for Recovery of Ohio newsletter. Currently, He 
has an international collaboration hip-hop album and a spoken word/ 
hip-hop album ready for release with UK artist 2Ban and his group 
RECON. Most recently, a featured artist both visually and musically 
at the 2nd Annual Ingenuity Festival.  
 
About the Reading Series:

marcus at designerglass.com . This is an all-volunteer endeavor. 
Featured Readers may bring their books, chapbooks, and cds to sell; 
the audience has been generous so far, but there is no other payment 
to the featured readers than the chance to sell their work. The 
Gallery takes no commission on the sales.

Gallery 324 is on the 1st floor of the Galleria 
(http://www.galleriaaterieview.com), in downtown Cleveland, Ohio, 
which is a glass enclosed arcade/mall with a 40-storey black facade 
office tower at one end. The office tower end has an entrance to the 
arcade/mall on East 12th Street, and the arcade entrance is on East 
9th street. There is a side entrance on St Clair between 9th and 
12th. 

There is free wifi access in the arcade/mall, if you have a wifi 
enabled laptop.
