AUDITIONS FOR BOY SOPRANOS (looking around 10 years old)  - TUESDAY at 4 p.m.
 
AUDITIONS FOR HS MEN - WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 6 at 4:00  p.m.
 

(Call-backs for all on THURSDAY the 7th at 4 p.m.) 
THE SECRET  GARDEN is a Broadway musical with  AMAZING music and a moving 
story about people who begin as wilting "flowers"  then bloom to life, just like 
the Secret Garden itself.   
DATES:  Rehearsals will be Mondays through Thursdays from  4:00-6:00 p.m., 
starting Monday,  September 11.  In late-October,  weekday rehearsals will 
extend to 7 p.m.  Performances will be November  10-19, 2006 on Fridays, Saturdays 
and Sundays. 
WHAT TO  PREPARE:  Bring sheet music of a two-minute  cutting of a song that 
will show off your vocal range, your acting skills  and your personality.  A 
piano  accompanist will be provided, but you may sing to a taped or CD 
accompaniment IF  there is no other voice on the tape.  There will not be a dance 
audition, though there will be dance in the  show. 
DIRECTOR:  Patrick Janson,  Equity actor and director/musical director in his 
ninth year at  Saint Joseph Academy, has appeared on numerous stages in 
Cleveland, Chicago and  New York  City.  He has  been extremely fortunate to work 
closely with many legends in the theatre  industry, including Cy Coleman, 
Stephen Schwartz, Jack Lee, Gordon Harrell,  Michael Blakemore, Stuart Ross, Guy 
Stroman and Jim Corti (all of whom have  created Broadway musicals).  He was  
Production Assistant for Cy Coleman on the Broadway musical The Life, and has 
had many former  students in Broadway shows, national tours and major college 
theatre  programs.
