Berea Grindstone Players at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, 23114 West St. Berea is holding auditions for last show of the year:
   
  ENCHANTED APRIL by Matthew Barber, from the novel by Elizabeth von Arnim,
  on Sunday, Sept. 10, 2-4 PM, and Monday, Sept. 11 from 7-9 PM.
   
  Characters to be read:
  Two 30s English housewives
  Two 30-40s English husbands
  One 20s socialite
  One 20s artist - male
  One 60-70s London matron
  One Italian housekeeper, 40-60s - age could vary.
   
  Play takes place in two London flats, and one Italian villa. 
   
  Comedy/drama. "When two frustrated London housewives decide to rent a villa in Italy for a holiday away from their bleak marriages, they recruit two very different English women to share the cost and the experience. There, among the wisteria blossoms and Mediterranean sunshine, all four bloom again--rediscovering themselves in ways that they - and we - could never have expected."
