[NEohioPAL]Royalton Players present "The Search for Signs of Intelligent Life in the Universe"

[The Drakes]

Royalton Players is starting a new
season with the uncommon but loved play "The Search
for Signs of Intelligent Life in the Universe" by Jane
Wagner. The Tony-award winning play, originally
done as a one-woman show by Lily Tomlin, has been
switched to simply an all-woman performance. Director
Geraldine Drake decided to have only women on stage
and behind the scenes, taking a unique leap into the
realm of uncommon yet fascinating threater.

The show is a heartening performance of life including

everything from drama to comedy. There are 15
Characters including a troubled punk teen,
a rich socialite, 1970s feminists, and a questionably
insane bag lady named Trudy.

The cast includes old friends and newcomers: Mary Lu
Franks, Starlie Drake, Colleen Carrick, Pamela Jordan
Handley, Penny Carrick, Genny Costanzo, Kristen
Goebel, and Ericka Wolf.

Performances are September 29th, 30th, October 6th,
and 7th at 8:00pm at the Masonic Temple, 6320 Royalton
Road. The matinee is October 1st at 2:00pm. You can
