ARTIST RECITAL SERIES ON SATURDAY, SEPT. 30


OBERLIN, OHIO (September 25, 2006)=97Oberlin College=92s Artist Recital=20=

Series, one of the oldest continuing concert series in the United=20
States, launches the 2006-07 season =97 its 128th=97 with members of the=20=

distinguished Emerson String Quartet and pianist Wu Han on Saturday,=20
September 30, at 8 p.m. in Finney Chapel.

	Violinist Philip Setzer, violist Eugene Drucker, and cellist =
David=20
Finckel will present a  program that features Mozart's Divertimento for=20=

String Trio in E-flat Major, K. 563 and, with pianist Wu Han,  Brahms's=20=

Piano Quartet No. 1 in G Minor; Op. 25.

	Reserved seat-tickets are $7 for students, $16 for seniors and =
those=20
with an Oberlin College I.D., and $20 for the general public. They may=20=

be purchased in advance by calling Oberlin's Central Ticket Service at=20=

1-800-371-0178. Tickets purchased at the door the night of the concert=20=

are an additional $3. Season subscriptions are also still available for=20=

the seven-concert series.which includes tenor Juan Diego Fl=F3rez in one=20=

of only two American recitals this season; the American Brass Quintet;=20=

the Cleveland Orchestra conducted by Philippe Jordan and featuring=20
pianist Angela Hewitt; the New York Woodwind Quintet; pianist Jonathan=20=

Biss; and Gil Shaham and Friends performing an all-Brahms program. All=20=

concert performances for the series take place in Oberlin=92s historic=20=

Finney Chapel, and all seats are reserved. Free parking is available=20
