CLEVELAND (September 18, 2006) --  Cleveland Play House (CPH) Artistic
Director Michael Bloom announces that My Fair Lady will be produced for =
the
first time in the 91 year history of CPH.=20

My Fair Lady, the beloved American musical by Alan Jay Lerner and =
Frederick
Loewe, is based on the play Pygamlion, an English comedy by George =
Bernard
Shaw. Directed by Amanda Dehnert, My Fair Lady is a co-production of CPH =
and
the Actors Theatre of Louisville. This special, two-piano version of the
production was approved by the authors years ago, but is rarely =
performed.

The original Broadway production of My Fair Lady, starring Julie Andrews =
and
Rex Harrison, ran for over six years, winning six Tony Awards. The 1964
movie version with Harrison and Audrey Hepburn won eight Oscars.

English comedy by George Bernard Shaw. Directed by Amanda =
