As an alternative to the usual Stanislavski / psychological through-line =
method of developing a character, transformational acting focuses on the =
moment-to-moment nature of personality and physical action in the =
creation of lively energetic, spontaneous characters. The class will =
include exercises to develop technique as well as their application in =
scene study and monologue work.

Stage lighting is where technology meets art in the theatre. The =
lighting designer and technicians set the mood by knowing how light and =

Classes at Weathervane have always been fun AND educational, but now our =
program has a new element!  We have restructured our classes to follow =
the Ohio Academic Content Standards for Theater. Same fun, more =
challenging games and exercises, ADDED arts content!  Youth Theatre =
Classes are taught by theatre professional and educators, for children =
aged 4 to 18. Classes are offered in performance, improvisation, musical =
theatre and technical theatre and take place one day a week from =
September 16th ~ November 21, 2006. Registration has already started, so =

Theatre for Little Ones

class, explore the basics of acting and self-expression. Using theatre =

    This class will concentrate on developing the skill and artistry of =

    Characters in this class will range from the mildly unusual to the =

    The how-to of running a show from behind the scenes. Students will =
