Stow Players is pleased to announce auditions for
            PUMP BOYS AND DINETTES

Directed by Sean Cercone (Artistic Director of The Carousel)
AUDITION DATES
Sunday, November. 12 & Monday, November 13 from 7:30-9:30 PM at the =
Heritage Barn  5328 Young Rd Silver Springs Park, Stow Ohio
Please prepare a song in the style of the show.  Looking for versatile =
actors who are vocally strong and have a good sense of rhythm.  Special =
consideration will be given to actors who can sing and play instruments =
(acoustic or rhythm guitar, bass, piano, accordion, spoons, washboard, =
harmonica, washtub bass or any other folk instrument.
Callbacks TBA.

PERFORMANCES
January 26 -February 17, 2007
Weeknight brush-up rehearsals may be called.

REHEARSALS
Evenings and some weekends from Nov till Jan
A complete rehearsal breakdown will be provided at the read-through.

THE CHARACTERS
4 men and 2 women, flexible ages, 20s to 50s. Some movement and simple =
dance steps may also be required.
The Pump Boys
Jackson - gas station co-owner.<
L.M. - gas station co-owner.
Eddie - monosyllabic mechanic.
Jim - narrates what little story there is to the show
The Dinettes
Prudie - Rhetta's younger sister.
Rhetta - Prudie's older sister and Jim's sometimes girlfriend.
