AUDITIONS

The Exonerated

Requirements:  
Audition will consist of reading from the script
Ages 16-Adult are encouraged to audition
Script calls for 7 men and 3 women
Please bring a picture of yourself to attach 
to the audition form. It doesn't need to be 
a formal headshot, just something to 
help the director identify you.
The Exonerated runs 
January 12-20 on the Arena Stage
with performances on 
Fridays & Saturdays at 8:00pm 
Please bring a list of all conflicts! 
More than 4 conflicts will lower your chances of being cast.

The Story
Culled from interviews, letters, transcripts, case files and the public
record, this show tells the true stories of six wrongfully convicted
survivors of death row in their own words. Moving between first-person
monologues and scenes set in courtrooms and prisons, the six interwoven
stories paint a picture of an American criminal justice system gone
horribly wrong-and of six brave souls who persevered to survive it.
