Established film company is gearing up to make it's 3rd feature film in Cleveland and the surrounding areas.

experienced director (from L.A.) and experienced producer (from Cleveland) are teaming up to complete a fresh film from a very funny and complex script.
the film will blend horror and comedy together, in the same vein as "the frighteners, cabin fever, evil dead , idle hands", etc... it is set at a newly opened summer camp in which the kids go to work as camp counselors, what starts off as a time of partying and fun becomes a horrific struggle to survive an
unspeakable evil that plagues the camp and it's inhabitants.

a great D.P. is on board as well as many other experienced crew members, the film will be shot in HD with 35mm lenses. the budget is growing as investors are becoming involved but the final product will ultimately be lensed on a micro-budget.

after the success of the last movie made by this production team, distribution of this film is highly likely. as well as many film festivals and showings nationwide.

this is a great opportunity to get a foot in the door with an ever-growing team of young industry professionals and fellow actors/actresses.

pay will be based on previous work experience / and or deferred on a competitive scale.

we are currently casting for the following characters:

BILL WINGER: (EARLY 30's to MID 40's) Bill Winger is the all American average Joe who is too cool
to wear a tie, but too broke to really make an honest living. He’s out going, and is essentially a free spirit. He knows nothing about camping or taking care of teenagers. Hell, he’s just in it for the money. But don’t let that distract you from him-He is the comic relief, and the guy you will have to count on when it comes time to do battle with the evil of the Camp.
How Bill Winger came into the picture was through one of the schemes of his good friend Russell Raimis. Russell called him up when Bill was on the brink of eviction and offered him a quick money scheme that would at least give him a place to stay until he can take his bucks and get the hell out. Both Bill and Russell have a history, one of which was counting cards at a casino in Las Vegas. Of course, Bill,
being the one who was rough housed, will not go into specific details, Bill still holds a grudge against Russell for that.

RUSSELL RAIMIS: ( LATE 20's to MID 40's) Russell is a quick scheming con man. He has a knack for making people believe him, and he has a large appetite for making money that isn’t legal. He’s a nervous wreck and usually depends on his right hand man Bill Winger to fix his problems. He’ll switch sides if there is a way for him to live, and he’ll do his best to keep you believing in a quick scheme lie as long as it gets him out of trouble. Russell has worked with Bill a very long time and knows that he’s the only guy that would see his plans and execute them well enough to get what he needs. Though funny to watch, he is not a very likable character.

THE BOYS:

“THE LOVE MATT” (18 to 28) The Love Matt’s real name is Matt. He’s the outgoing, beer drinking alpha male of the group. He thinks he’s witty with words, smooth with the ladies, and quick with the pedal. He has everything a teenager in the 80’s ever wanted. He has the wheels, he has the girl (KATE), and all he wants now is more sex notches on his belt before he heads off to community college with the rest of his friends.
He’s a tough base ball star and is in shape to battle demons and the supernatural, but has an unsuspecting weak ego. He fears commitment, he fears the future, and he fears maturity. That is why he does his best to stay with his friends so that he mentally never grows up and forever can live in the 80’s.
One would say that “The Love Matt” is, ironically, a
complex character.

BENNIE: (18 to 28) Bennie is a wise cracking kid who tortures his little brother. He’s hungry for girls and thinks that he’s going to score. He puts down his brother because he has a very low view of his own self worth. He takes pleasure in putting down others, and will simply go on the rest of his life this way. His own lack of self confidence makes him act this way to his peers.

BRADFORD (Breeder): (18 to 28) Bradford, Dubbed BREEDER by the other guys, is the classic nerd who loves nothing more than a good game of Dungeons and dragons, and a nice warm book called “The Rise and Fall of the Egyptian Empire” to get him through the day. He wants to be a historian, so all of his energy is thrown in the books and in school. The others look down at him since he’s still a virgin and because he does nothing to heighten his chances
in getting a girl.
Bradford will be the key that will help everyone get out of the camp alive. Lets hope the others see it before something bad happens....

LAHMAR: (18 to 28) Lahmar is the guy that you wanna be around because he is wild and crazy. He’s wise cracking and willing to do what it takes to get noticed. He parties hard but also is very conscious of his daily choices and often contemplates adulthood and his future.

JAKE: (18 to 28) Jake is a football hick. He can make moon shine from a broken kettle and a bed spring, and he loves to get rowdy. He’s a mammoth of a man, but knows when he has to be quiet. He's the strong teddy bear type who is protective of his freinds and loved ones around him.

THE GIRLS:

ELANA: (18 to 28)
Elana is a bitchy Ukrainian American who is slightly in the closet with her homosexuality. She doesn’t really like the boys, but will go along for her friends. She’s a smart little cookie, but a hard hitter when the guys try to cop a feel. She likes to look pretty in cut off skirts but wears large shoulder jackets to show the men who’s boss.
Elana is secretly in love with Bradford because she likes to be in control of her men, but her unyielding loyalty to Kate and the girls will make her put aside her feelings for the pathetic little geek, or just until she can make it through the night fighting off the evil that plagues their beloved campground.

JULIA: (18 to 28) Julia is the materialistic sweet rich girl that most people can't get along with, she was born with a silver spoon in her mouth and thinks that a sexy girl should "always
get her way".... She’s selfish and conceited but is also out going, but has a thing for bad boys. She’s a bit wild but still manages to maintain a high Grade Point Average. She’s a little sarcastic and can be wowed by shiny things like diamond rings and fast red cars. She is the type of person who will sell out her freinds when something better comes along.

KATE: (18 to 28) The classic girl next door faced with a dilemma. She realizes that she might have out grown her boyfriend “Love Matt” and is trying to find the best way to dump him. Her whole plan is simple...Break up with him the moment the other kids come in so that both of them will have other things to think about....At least that was the plan.
She wants to break up because she suspects that Matt is only interested in sex, and feels she needs more in
life. Also, She’s leaving to college in the west coast and will most likely not come back. She has been told that long term relationships do not last, so she’s trying to get it out of the way before anything else goes wrong.

CINDY: (18 to 28) The nice straight haired, blue eyed skinny christian going girl that every dad wants, and that every man dreams of marrying. She’s a good girl but passive. She has a very strict code of good and evil, so she’s a bit up tight. A good thing to have when facing evil , but a horrible thing to have when trying to stay rational.
Once the evil comes into play, she will not be able to make heads or tails of what's going on and will do her best to keep her sanity during this time of possession and turmoil.
Cindy has a twin sister who is her soul mate. They need each other and
are nothing if one is lost.

MINDY: (18 to 28) Mindy is her even shrewder Twin sister. She too is very strict in her christianity, and she too doesn’t like the idea of premarital sex with her boyfriend.
How she maintains to stay friends with the other girls is most likely because she grew up with them since she and her sister were 3. She is the party pooper of the fun-loving bunch.

* PLEASE NOTE, this script does involve sexuality and adult situations, partial nudity is not required but is to be considered as part of this screenplay. If this is something that offends you or you are simply not interested in, thank you for your time but please delete and/or disregard this posting. *

if you are still interested after reading this proposition and character breakdown, please reply with a resume / related work experience and
