 AUDITIONS TO BE HELD FOR RPA=92S PRODUCTION OF=20
ANDREW LLOYD WEBBER=92S CATS=20

MANSFIELD, OHIO.  Renaissance Performing Arts (RPA) announces that open
auditions will be held for the locally produced, fully staged production =
of
Andrew Lloyd Webber=92s CATS on Sunday, March 18th and Monday, March =
19th,
from 4PM =96 9PM on both evenings.  Auditions will be held in the =
Renaissance
Theatre, 138 Park Avenue West, in downtown Mansfield.  Thirty-two roles =
will
be cast including all lead roles.  All Auditionees should come prepared =
to
sing three minutes of their best song and will need to provide their own
sheet music unless singing a song from CATS, in which case the music =
will be
available at the audition.   For those who cannot attend either audition
date, resumes and videotapes must be sent by March 16th to: RPA Summer
Auditions, PO Box 789, Mansfield, OH  44901-0789.

RPA=92s production of CATS will be directed by Matthew Joslyn, a noted
professional director from Ithaca, NY.  The Music Director will be =
Mansfield
Symphony Orchestra=92s conductor Robert Franz with the music performed =
by the
MSO.  The executive producers are Terri N. Bergman, Acting President and =
CEO
of RPA and Brandon Smith, MSO Managing Director.  Performance dates will =
be
August 4th, 5th, 11th and 12th.  Regular rehearsals will begin June =
23rd,
with some workshops to be scheduled in advance of this date.
