AUDITION DETAILS:

Director Bob McCoy is still in need of additional men to play several 
distinct characters each in /Inherit The Wind/.  Rehearsals begin 
February 11th!!  If interested, please contact Bob at (440) 897-7660 to 
schedule an audition.

/*INHERIT THE WIND*/ was written in 1950 as a response to the threat to 
intellectual freedom presented by the anti-communist hysteria of the 
McCarthy era. Inspired by the famous "Scopes Monkey Trial" of 1925, 
playwrights Jerome Lawrence and Robert E. Lee wrote in their production 
notes that "INHERIT THE WIND is not about the theory of evolution versus 
the literal interpretation of the Bible. It assaults those who would 
constrict any human being's right to think, to teach, to learn".
