Creator of the Vans Warped Tour!

Music industry leader Kevin Lyman began his career booking bands for his
university, and working as a roadie for then-unknown acts, such as The
Untouchables, The Bangles and Bad Religion. After college, Kevin began
working with up-and-coming independent promoter Goldenvoice, serving as
production manager for seminal punk rock and metal bands, such as The
Germs, Metallica, Circle Jerks, Anthrax and Jane's Addiction.

Kevin is best known as the producer and creator of the hugely successful
Vans Warped Tour, the longest-running music and extreme sports festival
tour in the world today. The tour reaches more than 500,000 fans each
summer, and has spawned a host of imitators.  With the Warped Tour,
Kevin has pioneered the successful integration of corporate sponsors
with the "extreme" lifestyle, creating a blueprint for sponsorship
integration that is widely duplicated in the marketplace today.

successful tour productions, including The Watcha Tour, Down From the

Warped - 12 Years of Music, Mayhem and More

a featured exhibit at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum through
September 3, 2007.  The Museum worked with the Tour's management to
create the exhibit and time capsule that document the story of the
Warped Tour from its inception in 1995 through the present.  It tells
the story of America's longest-running touring festival and its impact
on the music world, and features memorabilia from NOFX, New Found Glory,
My Chemical Romance, Dropkick Murphys, Bouncing Souls, Rancid and many,
many more. Once the initial exhibit ends, these items will be put into a
"time capsule" to be stored at the Museum for 25 years, and then opened
at a special event in 2031.=20
