The Children=92s Theatre at TrueNorth Closes Their First Quarter 2007 =20=

Session with a Free Family Performance

The Children=92s Theatre at True North invites the community for a free =20=

family-oriented performance on Saturday, March 31st at 2:00 p.m. to =20
end their January/February/March class sessions. The performance will =20=

be held in the Fellowship Hall of the Lake Shore United Methodist =20
Church, located on 33119 Electric Boulevard in Avon Lake, Ohio. =20
Seating is available on first come basis for am afternoon of fairy =20
tales.

The students of The Children=92s Theatre at TrueNorth will be =20
performing A Midsummer Night=92s Dream by William Shakespeare and two =20=

original plays. The students themselves created the first original =20
piece, which they entitled The Random Fairytale or The Tale of the =20
Superstrong Superhero, the Golden Knight and Their Friends - Little =20
Red Riding Hood, The Wish-giving Fairy and How They Defeated the =20
White Witch and the Black Dragon. The second fairytale is The Good =20
For Nothing Prince, which is an adaptation of the book by the same name.

The Children=92s Theatre at TrueNorth is a program designed to help =20
young people discover theatre and to experience the performing arts. =20
Instructors teach children ages 6-18 years of age, and provide =20
opportunities to participate in all aspects of theatre.

Classes are held after school hours, or on the weekends. During =20
summer sessions, special day classes are held. The instructors also =20
offer a variety of workshops and private lessons. The performances, =20
held at the end of each session, are designed to give children =20
experience in front of an audience, and are therefore, free and open =20
to the public.

TrueNorth Cultural Arts is a multi-disciplinary arts organization =20
committed to building and strengthening individuals and the community =20=

through the performing arts, the visual arts, and the humanities. =20
TrueNorth's vision is two-fold: To educate, equip, and empower =20
individuals so they can embrace and succeed in the creative arts, and =20=

to envision and encourage a community where creative arts and art =20
appreciation flourish.

Private Lessons/classes are available in Theatre, Dance, Music, Early =20=

Childhood Music, Ceramics, and Drawing / Painting. Further =20
information can be found at True North=92s web-site, www.TNCArts.org, =20=

or by calling TrueNorth Cultural Arts at (440) 933-7771.
