Administration seeks full-time tenure track Assistant/Associate
Professor in Theatre with an emphasis in Performance/Production and
Theatre Education beginning August 27, 2007. =20
Qualifications: earned doctorate or MFA in Theatre, Theatre Education,
or Performance Studies; commitment to scholarly research and/or creative
activity evidenced by refereed publications or reviewed performances;
substantial and successful college/university teaching; experience in
theatre performance and in directing main stage productions; ability to
work with students, p-12 educators, faculty, and administrators; p-12
experience with accreditation preferred.
Responsibilities: develop and teach undergraduate and master level
courses related to performance training and theatre in education;
coordinate and advise teaching licensure students; advise master's
theses; direct main stage productions; provide leadership for attaining
accreditation by NAST; maintain an active line of research and/or
creative activity. =20
