A group of people who live and work in a rundown waterfront district =

learn the neighborhood is being razed for a soccer stadium and a =

series of upscale shops. The young developer can't understand their =

decision to fight the destruction of the funky old bar, the local food =

bank, and the secondhand clothing store but the district is where =

THESE PEOPLE hide out from the little failures in their own lives. =

Will they sell out? Or will they stop the development? They have to =

reach out to each other in new ways, and what "develops" is better in =

the long run than the soccer stadium. =
