  Only Ohio concert of tour!
All ticket holders will be invited to a special post-concert meet and greet

  Sunday, May 20 -- 8:00 PM
Husky-voiced American Idol singing sensation Harold "Bo" Bice hailed from Helena, AL, and brought his Southern sensibility with him to the fourth season of Fox's long-running talent contest. Bice competed weekly against fellow rocker Constantine Maroulis, his long hair, bell bottoms, and drug rug tunics against Maroulis' biker jacket and stockpile of New York City swagger. Eventually Bice won out (to the shock of some Idol fans), and went all the way to the winner's circle where he was AI runner-up to corn silk Oklahoman Carrie Underwood. The following summer Bice participated in the usual post-Idol tour with his fellow contestants; he also endured the traditional pry into his past life, which had evidently included brushes with drug possession. In the meantime, the release date of his debut album was pushed back. Real Thing eventually arrived in December 2005. Produced by Clive Davis, it featured collaborations with rockers Chad Kroeger (Nickelback) and Richie Sambora,
as well as songwriting pros John Shanks and Max Martin. ~ Johnny Loftus, All Music Guide

Gary Nichols may be country music's new "guitar slinger," but don't mistake him for a "tenderfoot" or a "greenhorn."
The hotshot instrumentalist, singing wonder and songwriting champ fits the classic definition of a "guitar slinger," but he's no novice. This is a role he was born to play.
Although still in his 20s, Gary Nichols has been rocking the clubs of Northern Alabama and Southern Tennessee for nearly a decade. And that's just his most recent musical history. This is a guy who was given a ukulele at age 11 months, who was warbling tunes at age 3, who won his first talent contest at age 5, who got his first paying music job and joined his first band at age 6, who played in honky-tonks at age 7, who was touring regionally at age 13, who performed in Nashville at age 17 and who had his first recording session at age 19.

            RIDERS IN THE SKY
  Friday, June 1 -- 8:00 PM
With 29-plus years and well over 5,000 performances under their collective cowboy belt, Riders In The Sky, the multi Grammy Award winning Western music group whose music is firmly grounded in the rich American music traditions of such legendary cowboys singers as Gene Autry, Roy Rogers, and the Sons of the Pioneers — and whose fun-filled performances have enchanted audiences of all ages — are themselves the stuff of legend.
Indeed, the Riders — Ranger Doug (Idol of American Youth), Woody Paul (King of the Cowboy Fiddlers), Too Slim ("a Righteous Tater"), and Joey (the CowPolka King) — have single-handedly revived and revitalized an entire music genre since they formed in 1977. With their recent induction into the prestigious Walk of Western Stars in Newhall, California, they've only added more luster to an extraordinary career that long ago placed them rightfully alongside the all-time greats as the world's premiere Western recording and touring band.
Foremost on their list of achievements are their Grammy albums: "Woody's Roundup featuring Riders In The Sky" was a "companion album" for the soundtrack of the 1999 Walt Disney/Pixar animated classic "Toy Story 2," which contained their delightful version of "Woody's Roundup." The album won the Grammy for Best Musical Album for Children for 2001 — an honor the Riders received again two years later for their Walt Disney Records release "Monster's Inc.-Scream Factory Favorites" — another animated film classic musical tie-in.
But the Riders have other estimable animation credits. In 2002, they composed the original score to Pixar Animation's Academy Award-winning short "For the Birds." More recently, they wrote the theme for a new Internet cartoon by renowned Bugs Bunny creator Chuck Jones — and had their own animated characters make a guest appearance in an episode of "Duck Dodgers," the Warner Bros. cartoon series on the Cartoon Network starring Daffy Duck in space, for which they recorded and sang the "Ballad of Duck Dodgers." Their animated characters also appear in episodes of "Stanley" on the Disney network this year — and the DVD versions — and perform three songs in a few episodes as well.
As real-life characters, the Riders continue to record seasonal episodes of Riders Radio Theatre, a radio program that's been broadcast by over 170 public and commercial stations since 1989. They've also starred in their own Saturday morning children's TV series, "Riders In The Sky," for CBS; hosted another one, "Tumbleweed Theater," for TNN; appeared regularly on "Austin City Limits"; and served as spokesmen for the National Park Service, Opryland, and such varied products as Levis, Taco Bell, Budweiser, Coke, and Cheer. Additionally, the group performed in "Sweet Dreams," the acclaimed Patsy Cline biopic starring Jessica Lange, and the Kenny Rogers made-for-TV movie "Wild Horses."
Of greatest significance, however, is that in 1982, Riders In The Sky became the first exclusively Western music artist to join the Grand Ole Opry. Coming two years after the release of their first album "Three On the Trail," their Opry induction recognized the then trio's instantly-earned stature, not only as the foremost custodians of America's great Western music heritage, but as among country music's leading entertainers.

        COMMANDER
CODY BAND
Opening Act RIO NEON
  Saturday, June 2 -- 8:00 PM
In the 60's, Commander Cody brought longhair country/rockabilly music to San Francisco and the rest of the civilized world. In those early days, Commander Cody played as the house band for Linda Ronstadt, Doug Kershaw, Gene Vincent and Emmylou Harris. Soon they began headlining clubs and were signed to Paramount Records. They recorded four albums for Paramount (now in print on MCA records), that included the hits "Hot Rod Lincoln", "Beat Me Sally, Eight to the Bar", "Mama Hated Diesels" and "Smoke, Smoke, Smoke (That Cigarette)". Their Live From Deep In The Heart Of Texas album, recorded at the famous Armadillo World Headquarters, won a four star rating from Rolling Stone magazine. The band moved on to Warner Brothers Records, where in 1976 they hit with Don't Let Go. Three albums for Warner Brothers followed, including the double album Got A Live One Here, recorded live in Europe.
The Commander Cody band toured Europe several times, opening for Led Zeppelin and Peter Tosh, as well as playing dance halls. The band recorded an album for German release in 1981 entitled Lose It Tonight, now available in the U.S. on Peter Pan Records. From this album came the Emmy award winning MTV video "Two Triple Cheese, Side Order of Fries" now in the Rolling Stone magazine Video Hall Of Fame and the Museum Of Modern Art Video Archives. The Commander's own art work was rediscovered at this time in the full color hardback book, "Star Art". Three times in the 80's the Commander appeared on the David Letterman show, contributing to his rising reputation as a zany talk show personality. Television credits for the Commander Cody band include appearances in the NBC series "Police Woman", the movie "Hollywood Boulevard", as well as spots on "Midnight Special", "In Concert", and Don Kirchner's "Rock Concert".
In 1986, the Commander Cody band toured, made a new video, wrote, and recorded a powerful new album, Let's Rock! that was released on Blind Pig. Let's Rock! does just that, featuring new compositions in the old Cody tradition like "Truck Stop at the End of the World" and "Rockabilly Funeral".
