Ok, I'm really not being paid to post this but...

If you have a Friday or Saturday evening or Sunday afternoon free, I
encourage everyone to check out Fourth Wall's Stained Glass Ugly.

Dash Combs (as Adam) and Carli Taylor Miluk (Madison) pull off
wonderfully compelling and thought provoking performances. The script
is well written and punctuated with humor, the show is well-paced.

Thanks to the minimalist staging there is nothing to detract from the
actors' performance. An audience member can't help to be somewhat
introspective.

Borrowing from the synopsis of the play:

Stained Glass Ugly is the story of an engaged couple seven days before
their wedding. After a horrible freak accident that mangles the lower
half of his face, Adam struggles to regain the speech patterns and use
of his tongue that once was so effortless. His fianc=E9e, Madison,
struggles to maintain their relationship and the love they once
shared. Through several genres and styles of theater and pop-culture
they interpret how the world sees them, contrasting to how they see
themselves from past to present and beyond. Stained Glass Ugly asks
the question- can inner beauty sustain when outer beauty becomes so
horribly disfigured?

You can find Stained Glass Ugly at it at Pilgrim Congregational Church
2591 w. 14th Street, Tremont June 1st, 2nd, 7th, 8th, and 9th @ 8p and
June 3rd and 10th @ 2p; all seats are a very reasonable $10.00.
