Buckeye Community Theatre has selected a family-friendly music comedy for 
its first drama production.  HONK! is a fun, musical, human version of the 
classic tale of “The Ugly Duckling.” It’s the familiar story of the 
unpopular, picked-upon, awkward kid who just doesn’t fit in. As he searches 
for a place to fit in, the audience watches him grow wiser, kinder, and more 
beautiful. It is directed by Shannon Bragger.  The Music Director is Heidi 
Herczeg and Artistic Director is Jack Winget.
		HONK! will be presented on June 28, 29, and 30 at 7:30pm and a Sunday 
matinee on July 1 at 2:00pm. The location of the production will be on stage 
in the Buckeye Elementary School at 3180 Columbia Road.  Tickets are on sale 
at the Buckeye Board of Education office, both Medina Buehlers locations; 
Magnificuts and Valley City Vision in Valley City; Hungry Bear Restaurant 
and Play N Grow in Litchfield; Creative Hair Design in Mallet Creek; and 
Creative Cuts in Brunswick. Presale tickets are $14 for adults and $10 for 
children ages 12 and under and seniors. Tickets will be available at the 
door for $15 for adults and $11 for children and seniors. Group pricing is
