Turning Pointe presents summer dance classes

Canal Fulton, Ohio -- Nearly every dance style imaginable will be available
at The Turning School of Dance this summer, 2387 Locust St. S., for dancers
of all ages.

Registration is now being accepted for Summer 2007 Workshop I,
which is three weeks June 11-30 for children ages 8 and older. Students will
receive classes Monday through Friday in ballet technique,
character/ballroom, tap, lyrical or modern, jazz, musical theatre, and
pointe for advanced students. Four different levels are offered based on age
and experience.

For the younger set, a two-week dance camp June 18-30 is offered
for ages 31/2 through 10 years. Depending on the age, children will learn
either creative movement or ballet, tap, cheer dance, tumbling and jazz.

The 2007 Jazz Summer Intensive is offered July 9-21. Classes for
advanced beginner students include cheer dance, jazz technique, lyrical,
hip-hop, tap and ballet. Intermediate and advanced levels will fill their
days with jazz technique, ballroom dance, hip-hop, musical theatre, modern,
ballet, tap and acting.

That's not all. Teens and adults may be interested in advanced
musical theatre, line dance, adult/teen beginner ballet, pilates and break
dance along with tap, jazz and ballet offered during a four-week summer
semester July 9-August 4. Many of the adult classes are offered in the
evening to accommodate people's work schedules.
