  WORLD PREMIER:  Cleveland, Ohio   July 19, 2007  5:45 p.m.      Envisioned by internationally-renowned drum master Jamey Haddad (Paul Simon, Joe Lovano, etc.), “Samba for 1000 Drums” sets the tone and spirit for Ingenuity 2007, Cleveland’s Festival of Art & Technology.  Brazilian maestro Marcus Santos joins forces with international samba-rock superstars Cyro Baptista & Beat the Donkey, Scott Kettner's Nation Beat, Rusted Root's Jim Donovan, local reggae hero Carlos Jones, the Latin Jazz Project, Drumplay, Rhythm Culture, Afro-Brazilian drum masters Elie Kihonia and Sogbety Diomande, the Shaw High Marching Band and nearly 20 mini-orchestras and hundreds of others for a delightful, energized and amazing musical experience.
