The email that I sent yesterday had the wrong closing date in the
subject line; however, the date was correct in the press release.  I
apologize for this error.  To clarify, the correct run dates for Jekyll
& Hyde at the Beck Center are July 6 through August 5, 2007. =20

dates that were originally published at the beginning of the 2006-07

Lakewood, Ohio -- The Beck Center for the Arts and National City are
pleased to present Jekyll and Hyde on the Mackey Main Stage from July 6
- August 5, 2007.  This popular gothic musical, based on the novel by
Robert Louis Stevenson, explores the duality of man and the constant
struggle of good and evil within oneself.=20
             Dr. Henry Jekyll is intrigued by the good and evil found
within all men, and believes he has found a way to separate the good
self from the bad.  Determined to test his groundbreaking new formula,
Jekyll takes it himself and unleashes the evil Mr. Hyde.  Unable to
control his darker side, Hyde goes on a killing spree and wreaks havoc
on Jekyll's life, his approaching wedding and the lives of his fellow
townspeople.  The play chronicles the battle between his two opposing
sides. =20
            Scott Spence directs the Beck Center's production of this
musical by Frank Wildhorn and Leslie Bricusse.  'For years, on Broadway
and around the country, the musical version of Jekyll and Hyde has been
a huge crowd pleaser," says Spence. "The time-honored story is well
known to just about everyone, and audiences seem to revel in how it
unfolds as a piece of grand musical theater. Jekyll and Hyde promises to
be Cleveland's best summer guilty pleasure this year. Bring all your

who has starred in Beck's productions of Beauty and the Beast and Equus,

and LakewoodBuzz.com.  Show times are Friday and Saturday evenings at
8:00 p.m. and Sundays at 3:00 p.m.  Two special Thursday evening
performances are scheduled for July 26 and August 2 at 8:00 p.m.  To

prices are $28 for adults, $25 for seniors and $17 for students (22 and

</span>This popular gothic musical, based on the novel by Robert Louis
Stevenson, explores the duality of man and the constant struggle of good =

and evil found within all men, and believes he has found a way to =
separate the
good self from the bad.  =
Determined
to test his groundbreaking new formula, Jekyll takes it himself and =

control his darker side, Hyde goes on a killing spree and wreaks havoc =

Jekyll’s life, his approaching wedding and the lives of his fellow
