IRISH SINGER GERRY CUNNINGHAM TO PERFORM AT STAMPER'S

More Power to Your Elbow leader Gerry Cunningham will present a solo
performance *for one night only* at Stampers Grill Pub, 9pm to midnight on July
5, 2007.

            Gerry Cunningham, the acclaimed singer-songwriter from
Loughgall, County Armagh, Ireland will entertain at *Stamper's Grill Pub*,
singing original and traditional Irish ballads, folk songs, and popular
favorites.

            After achieving widespread recognition as a singer-songwriter,
Gerry Cunningham formed and launched *More Power to Your Elbow* in the early
1990s, which soon became "the hottest live band in Ireland" (*The Irish
Voice*).  Gerry provided the songwriting, creative energy and lead vocals to
the eight-piece Irish traditional rock group that exited audiences all over
Europe and America.  During the height of their popularity, *More Power to
Your Elbow *played to sold out audiences in Ireland and were featured at the
*Milwaukee Irish Festival*, headlining the  Leine Rock Stage, *South by
Southwest* (St. Patrick's Day, 1993), Austin Texas, the *Lark in Gaelic Park
*, New York City, and many other prestigious venues.

            Returning to Cleveland with a solo show at* Stampers*, Gerry
will feature many of his original songs about local people and events in
counties Armagh and Tyrone, stories of love, songs of tragedy, songs of
comedy, songs of heroes, songs of Ireland.

            In addition to writing songs and performing music, Gerry
Cunningham works as an English and Math teacher at St. Ciaran's in
Ballygawley, County Tyrone.  His show at *Stamper's* will be his only
Ohioperformance in 2007.
