Student Films Across America is a student-run, non-profit traveling film
festival that is visiting 40 cities across the US and Canada this
summer.  The Cleveland stop will feature five award-winning shorts,
including "Pop Foul" by Moon Molson, a Sundance pick and a Student
Academy Award winner, "Checkout" by Dan Eckman, an HBO Comedy Arts Fest
winner for Best College Short, and "Glimpse" by Dustin Grella, a student
at the University of Akron.  The screening will be on June 21st at 7PM,
at the Cedar Lee Theatre (2163 Lee Road, Cleveland Heights).  Tickets
are $10, and can be purchased at the door.  For more information, visit

About the group itself -

Student Films Across America is a student-run, non-profit traveling film
festival that is visiting 40 cities across the US and Canada this
summer.  The event is run by three people - Steven Amos, a junior at
Drake University, his brother Brian, a spring '07 grad of Cornell
University, and Brian's college roommate, Ben Mauk, another '07 grad of
Cornell University.  The festival was started in 2006 as a small, local
event called the Door County Student Film Festival.  After seeing the
quality of what was submitted, the brothers knew that people would like
the films if they only had a chance to see them - thus, the idea of
taking the films around the country was born.  The event is run by a
501(c)(3) nonprofit, and all three are working this summer for no pay
beyond food, travel, and lodging.
