Weathervane Playhouse Announces

AUDITIONS - OPEN-CALL for

SOMEONE WHO'LL WATCH OVER ME

Weathervane Playhouse will hold OPEN-CALL AUDITIONS for SOMEONE WHO'LL =
WATCH OVER ME by Frank McGuiness. Auditions will be held at Weathervane =
Playhouse, 1301 Weathervane Lane (in the Valley off Merriman Road) on =
Monday and Tuesday, August 27 and 28 at 7 p.m.

Auditions will consist of cold redings from the script; auditioners are =
asked to be familiar with the script. TEN performances are scheduled in =
Weathervane's John L. Dietz Theatre November 1 - 17, 2007.

Needed:

3 Men ages 25 and up

Roles: An Irish journalist, an English academic and an American doctor

Director for the production is Jim Fippin. Fippin has been acting, =
directing and otherwise engaged in theater in northeast Ohio for more =
than 20 years. He has appeared on stage at Porthouse Theatre, =
Weathervane Playhouse, Coach House Theatre and with the Ohio Shakespeare =
Festival. His acting resume includes roles in King Lear, Twelfth Night, =
Romeo & Juliet, Hamlet, Another Antigone, The Lion in Winter, The Odd =
Couple, Uncle Vanya, The Real Thing, Macbeth and Custer. As the Artistic =
Director of Coach House Theatre, Jim staged productions of Chapter Two, =
Betrayal, Last of the Red Hot Lovers, Art, Private Lives, Who's Afraid =
of Virginia Woolf? and A Life in the Theatre. In 2005, he was recognized =
by the Akron Area Arts Alliance as the area's Outstanding Theatre =
Artist. Jim earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre from Otterbein =
College.

The Ohio Arts Council helped fund this program with state tax dollars to =
encourage economic growth,
education excellence and cultural enrichment for all Ohioans.
