We are auditioning for the role of The Page for our December production
of Amahl and the Night Visitors.  This role is for a tenor or high
baritone and could be played by an adult or even an older high school
student. =20

Although The Page's actual singing time is short it is during a pivotal
scene in the opera. The Page has a good deal of stage business in
certain scenes but rehearsal time can be used efficiently so the time
commitment for this role is not excessive.

Arts in the Cathedral (Church of the Saviour in Cleveland Hts.) will be
presenting Gian Carlo Menotti's chamber opera Amahl and the Night

Visitors on Dec. 7 at 7:30 p.m. and Dec. 8 at 4:00 p.m. =20

 This 45 minute opera tells the touching story of a lame shepherd boy
who lives in poverty with his widowed mother.  In the middle of the
night a

knock at the door announces a visit from the three Kings following the
star in search of the Christ Child. Flustered, the mother sends Amahl to

ask their neighbors to bring gifts and to dance for the Kings. An act of
selflessness changes the lives of Amahl and his mother forever.

I wanted to invite you to a screening this Weds night.

My production company LockJaw Studios kicked off film production this =
past week by participating in the The 48 Hour Film Project.  It is an =
international competition where we received a genre Friday evening at =
7:00 o'clock PM. We were then tasked to produce a short film by Sunday =
evening at 7:30PM.  So I guess it's really the 48 and a Half Hour Film =
Project. At any rate, the team that we sponsored drew "buddy film".  We =
worked very hard and handed our 7 minute film "Fiends Forever" yesterday =
@ 6:30PM.  I am very proud of what we accomplished and as a result of =
our efforts the film will be screened this Weds. @ 7:00PM at the Cedar =
Lee Cinema in the big theater.  Tickets are $8 and the audience will be =
asked to vote on their favorite film.  I hope you get a chance to make =
it down it's gonna be a hoot.
