Restaurant Group, owned by Gary Lucarelli, will officially open public =
restaurant in the former Play House Club space on September =

SIZE=3D2 FACE=3D"Arial">at The Cleveland Play House will be open for =
dinner Tuesdays through Saturdays.  </FONT></P>

First produced in New York off-Broadway =
in 1965, Man of La =
Mancha is the show that gave =
birth to “The Impossible Dream,” dramatizing the story of =
Cervantes’ Don Quixote. This is The Play House’s =
first production of Man of La =
Mancha, and is sponsored by the =
Kulas Foundation.

“Producing Man of La Mancha is another step in my quest to present classic American =
musicals in innovative ways,” says Michael Bloom, Cleveland Play House Artistic =
Director. “And presenting =
it in the intimate Drury Theatre will allow the director to bring the =
story that much closer to our audiences.”

SIZE=3D2 FACE=3D"Arial"> returns to The Cleveland Play House to =

“I hope that Play House patrons =
will leave the theatre with a little piece of Don Quixote awakened in =
their hearts,” says Dehnert. “That is, no matter what we =
have, we always have the power of our own convictions behind us – =
that faith can, in fact, move mountains, and that we as individuals =
always have a choice about how we live our lives.”

Presented in one act, The Cleveland =
Play House production of Man of =
La Mancha will be led by =
Broadway veteran Philip Hern=E1ndez, the only man in Broadway history to =
have played both Jean Valjean and Inspector Javert in Les Mis=E8rables. Hern=E1ndez made his Broadway debut in the Original Cast =
of the Tony-Award winning musical Kiss of the Spider Woman, directed by Harold Prince. He has previously played Don =
Quixote in the Paper Mill Playhouse revival of Man of La Mancha. In 2002, Hern=E1ndez released a Latin jazz CD entitled =
“The Beat of My Heart,” which Jazz Review =
called “a gift from the heart of one of America’s great =
voices.”

Making her return to The Cleveland Play =
House is Rachael Warren, who will play the role of Aldonza. Last year, =
Warren starred in the Play House’s My Fair Lady as =
Eliza Doolittle; The Plain =
Dealer called her performance =
“radiant.”

The author Miguel de Cervantes and his =
manservant, Sancho are thrown into prison by the Spanish Inquisition. =
Pleading his case to the other prisoners, who threaten to steal his most =
important manuscript, Cervantes gives a dramatic defense by reenacting =
the story of Don Quixote of La Mancha: the passionate and poignant tale =
of a noble knight who rights all wrongs and wins the heart of his one =
true love.

HEIDI DEAN (Maria, Fermina) has toured both nationally and =
internationally in productions of Evita =

Music. Her regional theatre =

BRANDON ELLIS (Anselmo) has performed on Broadway in the 2006 =
revival of Company, and =
off-Broadway, he appeared in the musical version of Of Mice and Men at the York Theatre. Ellis’ regional theatre =
credits include roles at Barrington Stage Company, Heritage Rep, =
Virginia Stage Company, and Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, among others. =
On television, he was seen in “Shake, Rattle, and Roll” on =
CBS and “Latent Powers” on HBO Family. His film credits =
include “1 Room,” “Monochrome” and “Happy =
Sunshine Kung Fu Flower.” Ellis earned his BFA in acting from =
UNC-Greensboro.

JOSH FOLDY (Pedro) has performed in the off-Broadway productions =

and Security at Drilling Company. Regionally, has appeared =
at Yale Repertory Theatre, Guthrie Theatre, Perseverance Theatre, =

Founded in 1915, The Cleveland Play =
House is the first permanently established professional theatre in the =
