Royalton Players present the 50's baseball musical Damn Yankees, tonight, A=
ugust 24, and tomorrow the 25 at 8pm.   Following Washington Senators's fan=
atic, Joe Boyd (Mike Petit), Damn Yankees looks at how one man's dream to s=
ee his favorite team clobber the Yankees ends up in deal to sell his soul f=
or the chance. With the help of the devil, also known as Mr. Applegate (Bob=
 Kenderes), this fantasy becomes a reality, as Joe Boyd is transformed into=
 22 year old Joe Hardy (Cody Zak).  However, Joe's climb to the top is not =
without qualms as the thought of leaving his wife Meg (Patty Devine) troubl=
es him, although Mr. Applegate skillfully attempts to divert him with the v=
ixen Lola (Abbey Studor). Also in the cast are Linda Waranai, Nancy Settle,=
 Katherine Tekesky, Robert Masseria, Mike Yonkura, Joe Mikolajczyk, Ryan Gr=
imes, Jamie Scott, Jeremy Stanfield, Mark Berardi, Ed Ault, Matt Ferdig, Da=
n Sweet, Annmarie Steffes, Joe McIntyre, Maggie Majercik, Colleen Carrick, =
and Kristin Brosky. The show is directed by Chuck Poliafico and the music d=
irector is Jason Jedlicka. Performances of Damn Yankees will be held at the=
 Royalton Players's home at the Edwin S. Griffith Masonic Lodge, 6320 Royal=
ton Road in North Royalton (across from Arby's).  Tickets are $12 for adult=
