Cleveland Contemporary Dance Theatre is holding DANCE AUDITIONS
for its CONSORT! Youth Dance Training and Development Program.

NO PREVIOUS DANCE TRAINING NECESSARY but an audition is required.
Audition is in a class format so there is no need to prepare a dance sample.

When:     Wednesday, September 19, 2007 
Time:     5:00-5:30pm- Registration only
          5:30-7:00pm- Audition Class (Audition begins promptly at 5:30pm) 

Where:    Karamu House
          Upper Dance Studio
          2355 East 89th Street
          Cleveland, Ohio 44106 (minutes from University Circle, 
          Case Western Reserve University and Cleveland Clinic)

The class will last for 1 1/2 hours and a brief wrap-up will follow for 
parents/guardians and student candidates.
 
CONSORT! is an after-school program for youth ages 12-18 dedicated to 
helping at-risk youth achieve personal growth through focused dance 
training, dance-related experiences and literacy based activities.  The 
program runs for the 2007-2008 season from Sept thru May, Tuesday-Thursday.

Candidates for the CONSORT! program must possess a strong desire to dance, 
be willing to learn new skills, and be commited to the schedule of classes 
and possible performances.

Come to the audition prepared to move in tights and leotards or semi-loose 
fitting comfortable clothing, i.e. t-shirts, sweats (no street clothing or 
shoes, do-rags or excessive jewelry).
