[NEohioPAL] JazzPoetry Comes to Club E - Night of the Poet-October 18

Club E, in association with Jazz Poetry Productions, is pleased to present "Night of the Poet",  an evening of spoken word entertainment featuring music by Vince Robinson & The Jazz Poets on Thursday, October 18, 2007.

Club E is one of Cleveland's newest and most elegant night spots, having gone through a complete makeover during the past year.  Located at 4102-04 Lee Road, it is poised to be the premier location for poetry events in the Midwest.

This event will feature dinner-style seating on the 1st level of the club.  Closed circuit television on flat panel screens will be available on level 2.

Poets are invited to sign up for the open mic in advance by sending an e-mail to tha_soulpoet at yahoo.com.  Advanced tickets are being sold by contacting Club E at (216) 295-1770.  Tickets for Level 1 are $10, $5 for Level 2.

Vince Robinson & The Jazz Poets recently performed at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and Museum and Lake Erie College in Painesville.  In addition, they are regular performers at the Nia Coffeehouse Open Mic poetry Series at the Coventry Village Library in Cleveland Heights on 1st and 3rd Tuesdays.  The band features Derrick James (bass), Nick Moore (guitar), Reggie Holmes (drums), and Vince Robinson (keys).

Showtime is 9 pm.  Seating will be on a first come, first served basis.  Dress to impress (no tees, wave caps, tennis shoes, etc..
