Three female parts remain for "Christmas at Aunt Ida's" at Huntington
Playhouse.
The show is based on the Dick Feagler holiday column and was premiered last
year
at Huntington. These are very good parts for women in their mid 20's to mid
 thirties.
The character descriptions are listed below. If any one is interested,
please contact
the director, Tom Meyrose, at _huntheatre at aol.com_
(mailto:huntheatre at aol.com) .
Ethel Feagler: Mid 30’s, Richard’s easy-to-like, attractive mother. She
sincerely wants
what’s best for her family and while she’s not as outspoken as some, she’s
not shy
and enjoys a good time. Comfortable in her own skin, she doesn't need to be
the
center of attention, making her a good listener. .
Arlene Peirson: Mid to late 30’s, If her husband, Stanley, had ever heard
the words
“high maintenance,” he would have know exactly what it meant. She pushes
herself
to be above average in all things, including fashion, and enjoys the
attention she feels
she so richly deserves.
Jean Herster: Mid 20’s, a bit naive, energetic, talkative and friendly.
Madly in love with
her fiancé, Billy (Ida and Bela’s son) she relishes planning every detail
of the wedding.
