Two artists from the London based firm Squint Opera will be giving a
lecture about their process at Kent State University on Wednesday.

The films they create are typically for Architectural purposes, and they
are compositing and digital effect MONSTERS. If you think you might be

Cartwright Hall Auditorium

The Cartwright Hall Auditorium is located on Hilltop Dr. Visitors may
park at meters located in most parking areas, or in the Student Center
visitor lot. The Squint/Opera workshop is made possible by the generous
support of University Circle Inc; a development, service, and advocacy
organization committed to the growth of University Circle.

Squint/Opera is an award-winning film and media production studio
operating in the space between architecture and film. Their films have
been shown at MoMA New York; the iMage Beyond Media Festival in Florence
Italy; Avenirs de Ville in Nancy, France; and Urbis in Manchester UK.
The company has also conducted workshops for Vienna Technical
University, the Royal College of Art, and South Camden Community School.
Squint/Opera's animated film for the regeneration of Bradford city
centre was acquired by MoMA New York in July 2005 as part of their
permanent collection. Five of their films were recently on display at
MOCA Cleveland as part of the Expanding the Circle: MOCA and the New
Uptown District co-curated by William Mason and Jill Snyder.
