Opera Cleveland Audition Announcement

Opera Cleveland is holding auditions for its Spring 2008 "Opera On Tour"
Mini Residency Program of Bizet's Carmen. Auditions are for the
following roles:

 


Don Jose - tenor


Escamillo - baritone

 

 

Availability requirements: Candidates must be available during school
hours from 

January 28, 2008 through March 20, 2008, including some evenings.

 

Rehearsals are Jan. 21 - 25, 2008, daytime sessions.

 

 

Audition date and location: November 10, 2007, from 10:00 AM - 1:00PM in
the Opera Cleveland Tour rehearsal room, Hanna building, 1422 Euclid
Ave, Ste. 1062, Cleveland, Ohio 44115.  

 

 

Audition requirements: Please bring 2 operatic arias, preferably one
from Carmen and 1 in English.  Total time for the audition is five (5)
minutes.

 

Accompanist provided? Yes

 

 

Auditions open to: All singers - auditions are by appointment only.
