PLEASE JOIN US FOR A WILD WORLD PREMIERE TO REMEMBER!!! SEE A CRAZY WHITE CHICK! WITNESS THE DEGRADATION OF A MAN BORN ON A LEASH!! SEE OF BITCHES & HOUNDS' WORLD PREMIERE @ CLEVELAND'S LEGENDARY ROCK VENUE PEABODY'S ROCKSTAR, NOVEMBER 6TH, 9:30PM "Disturbing on a level that shouldn't be allowed"--Violet Fewes PEABODY'S ROCKSTAR will be hosting the WORLD PREMIERE of OF BITCHES & HOUNDS, a sadomasochistic love story, on NOVEMBER 6th at 9:30 PM. This is one of the few times the legendary Cleveland rock venue has screened a film and it should be quite a treat...or trick, depending on who you ask. Of Bitches & Hounds is the story of Patience, an emotionally-unhinged young lady who keeps a battered man as her pet, her lover and her personal whipping boy. The odd and controversial film is a vibrant visual assault featuring a pulsing, energetic soundtrack with songs from Cleveland's own Mushroomhead, in addition to Black Moth Super Rainbow, Child Abuse, Coppe', Bang
Gang and composer Mike Lembke. The film was shot on location in Kent and Lakewood, and stars locals Melissa King, Jake McGee and Angie Morris, among others. See you at the movies! PEABODY'S ROCKSTAR - OF BITCHES & HOUNDS - WORLD PREMIERE TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 6, 9:30 PM, PEABODY'S ROCKSTAR, 2083 E. 21ST STREET OF BITCHES & HOUNDS A film by Bob Freville Starring Jake McGee, Melissa King, Bootawachenga, Angie Morris Edited by James Neyman Featuring music by Black Moth Super Rainbow, Coppe', Bang Gang, Child Abuse, and Mushroomhead Original Score by Mike Lembke Produced by Bob Freville and Jake McGee Contact: bitchhound at myway.com www.myspace.com/bitchhound www.youtube.com/obahound Synopsis: Two unlikely lovers- a man born into slavery and an emotionally-unhinged woman unable to nurture a pet- form the core of this beautiful allegorical nightmare. Of Bitches & Hounds carries the viewer through a dark and magical dreamscape populated by a black slave
trader, an unattainable dog bone, an omniscient canine and an interstate trotting angel, to name just a few. Fevered imagery and even more fevered emotion converge to paint an awesome picture of the modern relationship—unbalanced, uninhibited and co-dependent. Shot with both mini-DV and HD technologies, the filmmakers combine the gritty with the vibrant to make Of Bitches & Hounds what it is—a lucid fantasy of human bondage with enough humor and heart to offset the pain and degradation. Who is the bitch and who is the hound? That is for you to decide. Bob Freville is an artist based out of New York with a love for the human condition and the magic of the universe. He enjoys reveling in the flaws and the faux pas of people and the majesty of their places. He has contributed short stories, poems and absurdist doctrines to several anthologies in addition to a checkered career as a freelance writer for small newspapers, magazines and online rags. Having graduated from a
crash course in digital filmmaking at the Cinema Arts Centre, Long Island's premier independent theater, Freville decided to develop his screenwriting skills while working a series of odd jobs. His short-term gigs have included work as a roadie, a telemarketer, an office cleaner and a petty thief. His most current job title has been associate editor for a burgeoning LA-based magazine. Of Bitches & Hounds is his first film. Jake McGee is a writer and filmmaker living in the Cleveland area. His work has appeared in publications such as Record-Courier, Cleveland Scene, Village Voice, Kotori magazine and beyond, and he's covered everything from the Sundance Film Festival to national politics. Of Bitches & Hounds is his first film. ++++++++++
