THE MUSICAL RETURNS TO THE COACH HOUSE THEATRE

The spectacular season of live theatre continues at the Coach House
Theatre with their production of Oh, Coward! onstage from November
1st through November 17th.

Oh, Coward is a good old-fashioned musical comedy review that has
been lovingly devised by Roderick Cook. Mr. Cook brings together a
fine collection of Coward's catchy songs, juicy morsels of dialogue
from his plays and passages from effusive memoirs. Oh, Coward
promises to bring you a wryly sophisticated evening of style and
substance, culled from the works of one of the world's greatest wits,
Sir Noel Coward.

Director Nancy Cates brings to the Coach House Theatre stage a cast
of her favorites, including Timothy H Champion, Scott Shriner and
Lisa Marie Schueller. Mr. Champion is a well-established local
talent who has appeared at Weathervane Community Playhouse, Dobama
Theatre, and Tri-C Theatre as well as several other venues. He is
also a seven time recipient of the Weathervane Community Playhouse's
Chanticleer Award for acting. Mr. Shriner will be making his
fourteenth appearance on the Coach House Theatre stage where he was
last seen with Mr. Champion in Noel Coward's Hay Fever, directed by
Nancy Cates. He has appeared elsewhere at Actors' Summit and the
Bang and the Clatter Theatre Company. Mrs. Schueller is a new face
to the Coach House Theatre and a fresh local talent. A graduate of
Kent State University, she has been seen onstage at Actors' Summit,
Porthouse Theatre and Carousel Dinner Theatre. This "triple-threat"
of local talent brings to life the unparalleled wit and style of Sir
Noel Coward. The Coach House Theatre invites you to join them on
this musical journey of Coward's works with songs that include: "Mad
Dogs and Englishmen," "The Stately Homes of England," "Bright Young
Things," "Mad About the Boy," "Mrs. Worthington," "Lets Do It" and
many others.

Interspersing his songs with biographical anecdotes and sketches from
his various writings, "Oh, Coward!" celebrates the life and work of
British legend Noel Coward.

A wildly successful playwright, composer, lyricist, librettist,
director and actor, Coward did it all with equal skill and abandon.
His work and personality enchanted the world for over fifty years,
from the time he wrote and starred in his first musical at the age of
twenty-three. In countless songs, musicals and plays (including the
beloved "Private Lives" and "Blithe Spirit"), the multi-talented
Coward made an indelible mark on the international theatrical
landscape with his unique "talent to amuse." For sheer
sophistication, style and urbane wit, only Wilde and Cole Porter
could touch him.
