Easy Street prepares for another “Miracle”
 


   Tickets are now on sale for what has become a holiday family tradition for many area theatre goers, Easy Street Productions annual Christmas Spectacular “Miracle on Easy Street”. New York may have Radio City and the Rockettes, but Youngstown has the newly remodeled DeYor Performing Arts Center and Easy Street Productions. 

   For the past 19 years, Easy Street’s “Miracle” has grown in popularity as well as scale. Last year’s extravaganza featured over 100 singers, dancers and “little rascals” with some performances topping 2,000 in attendance.  
Easy Street cofounders Maureen Collins and Todd Hancock will once again host the event with vocalists James McClellan, David Jendre, Illa Willis, Colleen Crish, Katy Collins and Candace Campana. Musical Director Jeff Sanders will also return with the Easy Street Little Big Band blending a mixture of the season’s most popular tunes both old and new.
  The 2007 production will boast the largest cast yet with 60 “Little Rascals” and over 50 dancers from studios all across the valley. Choreography by Renee Rogers will feature a wide variety of styles including tap, jazz and hip hop.

   This year, a special Thursday night performance, December 13th at 8:00 pm, has been added to the schedule to benefit our local chapter of the United Way. Other show times include Friday Dec.14th at 8:00 pm, Saturday Dec.15th at 2:30 & 8:00 pm and Sunday Dec.16th at 2:30.

   Tickets prices are $25.00 for adults, $20.00 seniors/students and $12.00 for children 12 and under. Tickets can be purchased at the Easy Street Box Office, 865 Mahoning Avenue, or charged by phone at (330) 743-8555.
