Actors’  Summit  Offers 
Two  Holiday Shows 
Actors’ Summit, Hudson’s professional theater announced two  classic holiday 
shows for 2007. A Child’s Christmas in Wales will  return to the main stage 
for a four week run beginning November 29. For the  young (ages 2 – 10), and 
the young at heart, the theater will present A  Winnie-The-Pooh Christmas Tail. 
The show for young audiences will have a  nine performance run, Thursdays, 
Fridays, & Saturdays at 10:00 a.m. A  Child’s Christmas in Wales will  have a 
preview performance on Thursday November 29, and will play through  December 23 
at Actors’ Summit Theater in downtown Hudson. The play is performed Thursdays, 
Fridays,  & Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m.   
The Plays  
A Child’s Christmas in  Wales  is based on the short story by the poet Dylan 
Thomas. This particular version  was commissioned by the Great Lakes Theatre 
Festival and was adapted by Jeremy  Brooks and Adrian Mitchell. The play begins 
with Dylan waking up on Christmas  morning and follows his adventures through 
one perfect Christmas day in  Wales in the 1930’s. There’s dinner  with the 
aunts and uncles and cousins, playing out of doors, telling ghost  stories, 
and singing songs. This was also the year that Mom burned the turkey,  and the 
fire brigade arrived, put it out, and then stayed for a drink. Filled  with 
music of the season, the play is a perfect holiday outing for the whole  family. 
A Winnie-The-Pooh Christmas  Tail  was adapted from a number of A. A. Milne’s 
stories by James W. Rodgers. This  will mark the seventh year that Actors’ 
Summit has offered this delightful musical for  young audiences. There are only 
a few hours left before the start of the  Christmas party and Eeyore has lost 
his tail. Winnie-the-Pooh, Christopher  Robin, Tigger, Piglet, Rabbit, Owl, 
Kanga, and even baby Roo volunteer to help  find the tail in time for the party. 
 
Performance Schedule

A Child’s Christmas  in Wales will  have a preview performance on Thursday 
November 29. The official opening on  Friday, November 30 will be followed by a 
reception with the cast. Regular  performances continue through Nov. 4, 
Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays at 8:00  p.m. and Sundays at 2:00 p.m.   
A Winnie-the-Pooh  Christmas Tail will have a nine performance run,  
Thursdays, Fridays, & Saturdays at 10:00 a.m.   
Tickets
Tickets  for A Child’s Christmas  in Wales  are $25 on Fridays & Saturdays, 
$22 on Thursdays & Sundays. College  students and seniors receive a $2 discount 
at all regular Thursday and Sunday  performances.  Students under age 18  are 
admitted for half price.  Season  subscriptions and Discount Coupons are now 
available.   
Tickets  for A Winnie-the-Pooh  Christmas Tail  are $8 for all in attendance, 
but infants less than twelve months old are  admitted for half price. 
Group  discounts are available for parties of 10 or more.
