Bus Stop chronicles the tale of five weary travelers who find themselves in the middle of a howling snowstorm, all roads blocked, having to hole up in a roadside diner until morning. Cherie, a nightclub chanteuse, has been pursued, made love to and finally kidnapped by a 21-year-old cowboy with a ranch of his own and the romantic methods of a headstrong bull. As a counterpoint to the main romance, the proprietor of the café and the bus driver at last find time to develop a friendship of their own; a middle-aged scholar comes to terms with himself; and a young girl who works in the café also gets her first taste of romance.

The cast includes Justin Brenis of Solon, playing Bo; Jim Wolf of Hudson (Carl); Kimberly Mahoney of Lyndhurst (Cherie); Len Chase of Cleveland Heights (Dr. Lyman); Adrienne Jones of Hiram (Elma); Joy Borland of Shaker Heights (Grace); Bob Peyak of Cuyahoga Falls (Virgil); and Michael Pitt of Sagamore Hills, (Will).
