*Eccentric Performing with Avner the Eccentric!*
*Jan 11th - Jan 13th*, join us to workshop your silliness, play and presence
on stage in a weekend intensive with internationally renowned performer,
teacher and master of physical comedy, Avner the Eccentric.

Theater Ninjas presents this weekend intensive In association with the
Mandel JCC.  This intriguing workshop will give participants a firm
grounding in physical comedy techniques.

The Weekend Intensive includes 3 components:

*Master Classes in Eccentric Performing*
Friday, Jan 11th, 7-10pm
Sunday, Jan 13th, 2-6pm
Explore the fundamentals of physical comedy and physical theater!
Participants will explore three areas: balance and control of the space,
meeting and establishing complicity with the audience and with partners, and
problem solving as a method of working on stage.

*Avner the Eccentric Performance*
Saturday, Jan 12th, 7:30pm
Ohio Theatre Playhouse Square Center

Join us to witness Avner's unique mastery of stage! A mix of clowning,
amazing feats of balance, and skilled silliness, Avner's one-man show is an
extraordinary experience of remarkable virtuosity and endearing naivete.
Workshop participants are also invited to a post-performance talk-back.

*Workshop Works-in-Progress*
Sunday, Jan 13th, 6-8pm
Bring in your own projects for exploration! A master of devising original
work, Avner lends us his expertise to facilitate the progress of our
creations. Participants interested in having Avner view/critique their work
should specify the running time when signing up; length should be between 5
to 15 minutes long. All participants are encouraged to join us for this
segment of the weekend intensive.
