Cleveland Public Theatre announces auditions for film sequences in

Cut to Pieces

A multi-media project in development at CPT

 

 

Merging intense physical theatre, a cappella singing, electronic music,
live video mixing, complex interaction with pre-recorded video, and a
highly visual installation-style set, Cut to Pieces tells an archetypal
tale of intrigue.  

 

We are looking for six actors, any race/ethnicity unless otherwise
noted:

Female, age 9-15 

Male, age15-20 

Female, Latin American, age 18-30 

Male, Caucasian, age 20-30

Female, age 50-65

Male, age 50-65

 

Actors will participate in a short film shoot and photo shoot in
February, and will need to be available for possible additional shooting
dates later in 2008 or early 2009.  Photo/video content will be edited
into the live performance. (Actors do not need to be available for the
live performance dates.) Actors will be paid a small stipend.

 

Possible rehearsal and shooting dates:

Saturday, February 2nd, 2008

Saturday and Sunday, February 9th -10th, 2008

Saturday and Sunday, February 16th - 17th, 2008

 

Actors should prepare a contemporary monologue, no longer than 2
minutes. There will also be cold readings from the script. 

 

Audition times are as follows:

Saturday, January 26th: 4:00pm - 5:00pm

Sunday, January 27th: 4:00pm - 6:00pm

Cut to Pieces (formerly I Fall to Pieces) will be presented to CPT
audiences as a workshop production June 5th - 8th, 2008.
