[NEohioPAL] Seeking Keyboardist/Music Director For Fun New Rock Band!

Fresh from the stage of Cleveland's GigFest '07, our new band is immediately looking to add a keyboardist/pianist who would also be willing to act as our volunteer music director. Aside from playing the keys, your responsibilities would also include: handling song arrangements (when necessary), establishing proper song key & tempo, coordinating/supervising rehearsal time and working with vocalists (basic pitch tuning, harmonies, etc).

Our music is an eclectic mix of styles that includes: classic pop and rock, current Top 40, Motown/soul, blues, country, disco/dance, funk and novelty. Some examples of artists covered on our current set list include: Fleetwood Mac, Linda Ronstadt, Buddy Holly, Nancy Sinatra, Bette Midler, Wilson Pickett and Rod Stewart.

Our act currently consists of: Three vocalists (two females and one male), rhythm guitar, bass guitar and a drummer. (We plan to add one additional guitar and possibly horns at a later date). Our members' age range is 35 and up.

Rehearsals are once a week and currently take place on the Westside. At this time, we are expanding our set list and are poised to begin gigging during Summer 2008.
