Sunday, February 17th at 6PM

and

Monday, February 18th at 7PM

~~~All Roles are available for this production.
~~~Performances begin July 18th and go thru August 17th. (Fri/Sat/Sun only)
~~~Rehearsals will begin in circa June 8th to 15th.

Altar Boyz will be Directed by Scott Spence, Artistic Director of the Beck Center
          and  Choreographed by Hernando Cortez, Artistic Director of Verb Ballets
          with Musical Direction by Larry Goodpaster, Resident Music Dir. at Beck

Needed are five extremely strong singers (ages 18 to 30) who move very well. All must possess high baritone voices and be able to sing in head voice AND falsetto.

Altar Boyz is the quintessential parody of Boy Bands. It also is a send up of Christian Rock.

The Five Roles Are:

Matthew (The Leader of the Pack)
Mark (The "Sensitive" One)
Luke (The Bad Boy)
Juan (The Latin Lover)
Abraham (The Jewish One)

All Actors (18 and over) are paid. As many as Two AEA contracts may be offered.

No Appointments are necessary. Please bring a 60 to 90 second musical selection that shows off your voice. Pop selections and musical theatre choices with a Pop tone are suggested. An accompanist will be provided. Please bring sheet music in your key. A capella singing is discouraged. Actors will sing individually first (based upon arrival) then will dance as a group. Callbacks will occur within 7 to 10 days following the initial audition.
