  SUSAN WEBER AND TROUBADOURS OF DIVINE BLISS -- WILBERTS APR 3
   
  Award-winning local songwriter and bandleader Susan Weber will team up with the Troubadours of Divine Bliss at Wilberts on Thursday, April 3.   The show begins at 8 with a dinner hour set of original music by Weber's band before the Troubadours take the stage to present their special blend of acoustic vaudeville and song.
   
  A female duo from the midwest, The Troubadours, together for more than ten years, have toured nationally and in the UK. Their eclectic show has been described in the national music press as a "caravan of creativity from Houdini to Fellini, from front porch to torch, from jambouree to gypsy," 
   
  Weber, from Cleveland Heights, grew up as a classical pianist, migrating to acoustic and electric guitar under the guidance of Michele Temple of Pere Ubu.  Her 2007 release Monet's Orbit won the kudos of local critics who compare her sound to The Jefferson Airplane, P.J. Harvey and a heartland version of Patti Smith.
   
  Both Weber and The Troubadours of Divine Bliss have been honored with awards for musical excellence by their respective hometown music and arts publications, the Troubadours as "best folk group", and Weber as "best female singer-songwriter."  Weber has also won the Honor Award from the Great American Song Contest.
